Welcome to my blog.
Let me get a couple of housecleaning issues out of the way. I chose the title of my blog in reference to its meaning. However, I need to apologise to everyone. While the title may be clever, I generally am not. I frequently misspell, ramble on and use atrocious grammar. I can only ask for your forgiveness up front and promise to do my best to entertain you and possibly pass on something you haven't thought of, or at least makes you pause, smile or even think.

I've never blogged before and have no idea what I'm doing. I thank Google for allowing me the opportunity to further embarrass myself.

To those who have seen or not seen "V" for Vendetta, yes, parts of it are silly. May I suggest however, that you pay particular attention to the main premise of the movie. While I'm not paranoid, nor a movie critic, and without spoiling too much, let me draw your attention to some key plot twist to consider: (in the movie)

* The government and the media conspire to spin the "news stories" to generate the most amount of "fear"- to manipulate the public into justifying  the governments existence and necessity of its protection.(A never ending circle) "Never let a crisis go to waste."

* The bad guys drive around in nondescript vans and listen in on the public's conversations. (Our own administration has recently purchased vans that can x-ray houses, vehicles and more). Thanks goes to Epic.org, (Electronic Privacy Information Center. Check them for a document they discovered through a FOIA request that lays it all out) and Natural News.com - (see Mike Adams blog from 3-6-2011). And be sure to check out Naomi Wolf's presentation from her book, "The End of America" on Natural News.com

Let's not forget how we're being forced like cattle down the shoot towards the death of our Fourth Amendment right, as the TSA invades our privacy by feeling us up or peeking through our clothes. Let's not offend or do the "smart" "rational" thing and profile - god forbid.

So what's the point of this rant? Well, this is where the "movie" gets really good. The "good guy" takes over a t.v. broadcasting station, slips in a dvd presentation and says, I'll paraphrase, "I think you will agree, there's something wrong with our government."
